Congregate Meals are served Monday through Friday at 11:30 am (doors open at 9:00 am). Suggested donation is $2.00. The meals are served in the Center’s Multipurpose (Nutrition) Room. A well-balanced hot meal is provided to individuals over 60 years of age and the spouse of the participant over age 60. Meals are prepared with no salt added, cheese lower in saturated fat and cholesterol. Additional considerations include using non-fat milk in puddings and creamed dishes and soups, canola oil, when oil is called for and egg substitute in egg dishes and canned fruit in light syrup.
