Jazz Class

This high energy class consists of pop music for children, focusing on musicality and rhythm. Jazz dance is a fusion of ballet, hip hop, and modern dance. Like ballet, jazz builds body strength and helps with balance and coordination. This class will also focus on flexibility conditioning technique, and progressions including turns, kicks and leaps.

Parent & Me Music & Movement

This class is designed for children to have early exposure to music and movement. It has been shown to stimulate brain development in preschool aged children. Children will participate in the magical world of song and melody through this parent and me style class. Children will move and dance to interactive music & songs written especially for them. Both new and familiar music will encourage vocabulary growth & interaction.

Salsa Beginner/ Intermediate

Come and learn this elegant and sensual Latin dance- LA style! You will learn basic moves such as turns, cross body leads, open breaks, etc. You will learn musicality, timing and how to lead and follow. Louie Angon is a professional fitness instructor, choreographer and performer with over 20 years' experience. His unique teaching system makes it easy to learn to dance with grace and style.

This program offers training in a variety of formats, including Aqua Zumba, Pilates and Yoga. This cardiovascular workout is driven by upbeat music with foot stomping movements targeting heart, lungs and lower body toning.

Gymnastics

Beginners

Children are introduced to acrobatic moves on gym mats, balance beams, spring boards and floor techniques, while simultaneously incorporating all five components of physical fitness.

Intermediate/Advanced

This gymnastics class follows the United States Gymnastics Federation advance level floor level exercises, bars, beam, vault and power incline trampoline while simultaneously incorporating all five components of physical fitness.

Hatha Yoga

Yoga practice enhances health and well-being. Movements include relaxation while stretching, strengthening by holding weight-bearing poses, breathing awareness and working together in rhythm. It promotes skill building, fitness, strength and relaxation.

Strength Training

This program focuses on developing foundational strength through various forms of exercises using your own body weight and hand weights. Body weight exercise improves overall fitness, posture, and mood. Exercises include push-ups, lunges, squats, and more. Please bring your mat, wear comfortable clothing and prepare to have fun!
